Welcome to my first official Christmas post! I am so excited to share with you! When I was thinking of colors to decorate my kitchen for Christmas I knew I wanted to use some things I already had on hand and of course add a few new Christmas decor! I chose gold because I knew I needed to warm up a plain white kitchen! Plus gold is a luxurious metallic accent! If you know me by now, I love fancy and creating Christmas magic where ever I can!
I’ve had this beautiful gold wreath above the stovetop last year from Pier One imports and decided once I put that up on the backsplash it was going to be my starting point. (Here’s one that is similar!) Next I alway use a flower/vase vignette on my kitchen island and knew I had the perfect round gold tray that I wasn’t currently using in storage! So I pulled that out and decided that I needed a new ginger jar and little mini gold christmas trees. I did replace my oil landscape artwork with the gold Jesus is the Reason art plaque (there is currently no link and is available at the At Home store). Then I switched out my blue and white vase with a white vase I already had on hand! (You might remember it from my 4th of July tablescape?)
Next I envisioned a festive Christmas bow to put on top of my brass lanterns! The only problem was that I was not very good at creating a big bow that stayed put so I went online and found inexpensive pre-made light gold bows! Once it came in, it was super easy to tie around the light chain! (Mine is in the natural solid color)
Last I added a big fir candle scent in a white Christmas jar to my kitchen island vignette! Voila! My Gold and White Christmas kitchen is complete! I kept it all simple and let the gold accent colors shine through! I hope my kitchen can help inspire you to create your very own Gold and White Christmas kitchen!
Thank you for stopping by! XO!
